Does one ever fall in love again after they have found and lost their soul mate?

Do you find sweet distractions in the arms of someone who helps you pass the time as they love you as their own? Do you float about decoupled but attached temporarily to a love that if looked at in the right light, held at the right angle will look like the real thing?

How does one half of a soul carry on earth alone aware that it has lost the one thing that held it here is no longer anchored here but floats in another realm, tangible and real in memory but out of reach.

How does one live knowing they are waiting to reunite with the half that departed too soon? How does one go about with the business of living when every experience without the most important part of you feels like pretence?

How does one love live and create as half a being?
